natural team leader, lover of adventures, the breaker downer

Hello everyone, my name is Kim and I am the Co-Director at Cradle to Crayons. I’ve always considered myself a kid at heart which comes as no surprise to people who know me that I have dedicated my career working with children. I studied theatrical arts in college and after graduating I worked at a non-profit teaching acting and dance to at risk youth. This allowed me to foster my love for children and education. After moving to Colorado and falling in love with the great outdoors I decided to go back to school and pursue my teaching license. I started as a preschool teacher at Cradle to Crayons and fell in love with teaching children, exploring their world, and the school’s educational philosophy. While enjoying my time in a classroom immensely, I realized I also enjoyed working with teachers, adapting curriculum to assure every child is learning, being a mentor to staff, and decided to pursue my Director certification. My favorite thing about my job is watching the kids here grow and develop into amazing human beings.
